La Cumbre de Dipilto is one of Cafetos de Segovia’s signature regional blends, carefully composed from individually cupped lots of washed Catuai and Caturra. Selected for their balance of chocolate sweetness, nutty depth, and a touch of citrus brightness, the result is a classic expression of Nicaraguan coffee: clean, comforting, and elegant.
Dipilto, a high-altitude municipality in northern Nueva Segovia, is renowned for its shade-grown coffee. Nestled within the protected Dipilto-Jalapa mountain range, the region’s cool microclimate and diverse forest cover provide ideal growing conditions. Its name, La Cumbre, “the summit”, pays homage to the highest peaks that shape this unique landscape.
At Cafetos de Segovia, drying is done exclusively on shaded patios. This slower, more controlled process preserves the integrity of the coffee, ensuring consistent quality and a longer shelf life.
